catalyc converters and exhaust problems

The local benz dealership told me the CEL was caused by a bad MAF sensor , so I bought one from them and it did not fix the problem.I reset my codes on the 2000 ml 320 today, and the CE light came on again after 5 minutes. there is no difference between my old one and this new one, the car still runs like crap, it wont accelerate, it has no power. Did anyone have any problems with their Catalyc Converters, I think that they don't have a good flow and it sounds like the exhaust is leaking, right after the manifold but before the cat. It is leaking on the exhaust gasket i think. Please, if anyone had the same problem or any suggestions, i would appriciate it. thanks a lot.

Use search and type in "Catalytic Converter", you will find lots of information relative to CAT problems.

so , i should have the warranty on the benz since it has 60K and it is a 2000 , but does anyone know if there is a website i could print a proof of that just to show them. I did not talk to the benz dealer ship about the warranty on exhaust yet, i just want to have some that says that the warranty on merecedes exhaust is 80K. Any does it matter if i am the second owner of the car. thanks a lot to everyone who tries to help, i need it.

Please use the search function using the term 'catalytic converter' as one of our other members have suggested.
