2003 G panhard rod questions.

I have heard that the later G (with the big engin and larger tires) are know to have problem with the panhard rod which cause the stearing wheel to be of-center.

My question is first where is it? Anyone have diagrams or pictures of a panhard rod? Is it in the front and rear suspension?

Just want to check it out for myself before I take it in to the dealer. Don't want to spend my money on a alignment to center the stearing wheel just to hide the problem.

Also is this a do it yourself job like changing the shocks?

thanks

blau

P.S. You know if I don't really think about it, I would swear that the Murker is the most reliable car in the fleet (I guess low expactation). But if I really think about it it would be the SLK.
