Uh, do either of you know how to fix a problem on a ML’s sunroof? One of the interface arms between the sunroof and the track mechanism broke and I'm not sure how to replace or fix the part. Of if i need to care as it still works okay, but with a few new noises. The dealer wants to replace the entire assy, which is danged pricy for what looks to be a 6” long part.

Suggestions?

Is that a SKY-view roof OR std sunroof?

The only replacement parts for the standard roof is the wind deflector assembly OR the complete roof!

So sorry for the delay in responding. It's the sunroof and not the skyview. There appears to be 2 failures. one is that the truck mechanism, if I’m using the term correctly, has lodged against the wind deflector, and the 2nd one is that the arm that connects the sunroof to the truck has broken. The dealer says to replace the tray but it appears that if the arm can be reconnected or fabricated it will do the trick. Then i have no idea why it is sticking against the wind deflector. I’ll get a photo and post tomorrow.
