Canadian Army G-Wagon

The Canadian Army was recruiting at the Toronto Auto Show the last two weeks. They had one of their G-Wagon's as well as a couple of LAVs.

Sorry the picture quality is so poor, the lighting was not good.

If you go here, you can see the G-Class assembly line in Graz; and Canadian G's are intermixed with civilian models.

And in this one, the Canadian military driver lost both of his legs. He credits the stength of the G for saving his and others in the truck lives.

This one hit an IED. Note that the doors still work. The most serious injury in this one was a broken leg.

I can't wait till they start selling those as surplus! What do you think, 10 years? Any idea what engine is in the Canadian military one?
