speaker upgrade
 

First off....don't want to spend a lot of money, but thought about replacing my four original door speakers with new ones. Anybody had good results with a particular manufacturer, and if so what model # speaker did you replace them with ?

BTW..this is a 99 ML430 with the factory BOSE system with subwoofer under driver seat. Just after I purchased it, I added BA tweeters in the sail panels.
Also using a Dick Bipes adapter for I-Pod hookup....CD changer in rear was toast, so it has been removed.

Thanks for the link Just what I was looking for.

Sounds like the Infinity Kappa 63.7i and 52.7i are one of the few
that can be used successfully without furthur modification. Now
to see about a good price !!
