Question Handle to raise 2nd row Passenger side seat

I have a 2001 ML320 with the optional 3rd row of seats. Included in the option is a 2nd row seat which can be raised to allow access to the 3rd row. Last week one of my kids friends ripped the handle right off. Of course I said don't worry about it, but in my head $$$ were spinning. Does anyone know if the part is available and if it can be repaired at home? I am technically savvy, but would like to find the answer to this before I start disassembling the seat.
Has anyone had experience with this repair?
See pictures below.

Thanks in advance,
