What Size Torx Security Bit for MAF

I need to R&R the MAF on my 99 ML 320. Looks like I need a torx security bit to remove it. Can someone advise which size bit I need? If you know a good place to buy torx security bits, that would be appreciated as well.

Are you trying to remove the guts of the MAF?
If so, you will need a Snap-On 25IPR. PN# TTXR25TPE.
Otherwise, the complete MAF will remove with a 7mm or flatblade screwdriver.

Think the dealer is expensive? Do you know how much it costs to train a dealer tech? Or buy the required MB special tools to have on hand?

No, I am just trying to replace the MAF. I haven't bought the new one yet, but when I took a look at the original, I saw torx security screws on either side of the MAF. I thought they needed to come out to remove the MAF. I'll take another look tonight.

Thanks for the quick response.

Unless you buy some part NOT made for MB then Bosch supplies the complete sensor WITH housing!
