Adding A/C to G-wagen

Does anyone have experience with adding A/C to older G-wagens? I've had 2 460LWBs, one with the aftermarket and one with the factory unit. The aftermarket unit was a glorified hair dryer! I would like to add a factory-style unit to an early 463 (300GE).

This would typically not be a big deal, but Memphis is a very hot, humid place in the summer....

Any help that you could offer would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
