98 ML 320 stalling

We have a 98 ml 320 with 130k when we stop it stalls and 2 to 3 minutes it will start again. We were reading the manual about not useing a cell phone when driving, also someone told us the CPS could be going out?

Crank position sensor failure is common on that & all M112/113 engined cars.

Thanks DOC we had the CPS sensor replaced today it is running great!
