Bearing noise from what appears to be the Auxiliary fan ML 320 2002

Has anyone had this problem before? - a bearing whistle from what appears to be the Aux fan and did a DIY? How? Any parts drawing? Any pics
What? - did you just go to the local bearing store and purchase the offending bearing less 85% the usuall price?
