2004 ML500 Unable to Lock
 

Hey there,

I just bought my first Mercedes-- a 2004 ML500. I absolutely love it, but it has a strange problem. Intermittently when i removed the key it would sound a warning tone and not allowme to lock the doors using the fob. If i placed the key in contact with the ignition i would hear an audible click and the problem would cease. Today the problem will not resolve. I was hoping one of your worldly MB gents would have the solution before i call the dealership.
