start problems for 2001 ML-320
My 2001 ML 320 is still having problems starting on the first try. The mechanic who installed a new CPS said that there was a lot of oil in the location of the CPS.
Do you think that the CPS was installed improperly or maybe there's another problem? |

If the truck always starts(even if it takes 2 tries) then the crank sensor "most" likely isn't the problem.
Fuel pressure bleed-off causes most long cranking & re-cranking problems.
