Question on ML55

I have a 2000 ML55. Diagnosis of an airbag fault indicates that I
have bad senors in the passenger seat cushion where the sensors
are in the cushion itself. I have this part. This is the smart child safety
sensors are bad in the seat cushion. The airbag off light and SRS stays on.
I need to know from any of the MB gurus, as to the tips on
replacing this cushion. I took quite a bit of work on my MBs.
please any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

some people have trouble with the hog ring clips, make sure you have a set of hog ring pliers and some new rings when you go to reassemble it. other than that its not really hard to do. get the lower seat frome off and kneel on it from the bottom to get the seat cover off. don't worry about the adhesive on the seat cover to foam insert, it will still stay in place when it goes back together.
