window switch issues
 

hey guys, I was just wondering if it is possible to buy the rocker arms for the window switches. Here is what I did. Like many other ml's my drivers window switch failed so I took it apart to fix it, eveything went great I got the window to work. But when I was doing the reassembly I accedintly applied to much pressure on the defrost rocker arm which caused it to break in pieces. So now I fixed the window and broke the defrost.

Now I need a rocker arm for the defrost switch and I am not sure if dealer sells those and if it is possible to buy them anywhere else. thanks in advance.

Are you looking for the plastic part for the defrost switch or the metal parts underneath?

I had an old complete unit that I replaced last year ('99 ML430) and if you send me a pic of what you want, I'll see if I can find it and send it to you.

It is the plastic piece, white , under the black cover with the defrost sign. It goes on top of the ball spring and it is used as a rocker for the switch.

To get to it you just take the switch cover off , and the rocker is right under that.
