How to add hands fee cell phone

Any one have suggestions on how to add a hands free cell phone to my ML350? I have the factory Bose sound and nav system? Help, the California law will require this in July.

If you have the wiring option, all you do is remove the plastic cover in the upper console and connect either a phone cradle or a bluetooth module. Then you get a compatible phone.

If you don't, you get to spend ~$1500 at your dealer to have the cradle connector and a box of electronics installed. Then, you do above.

Parrot CK-series

I have a 2001 ML320 with the Bose Sound on the Command Series Radio with DVD Nav. I bought a Parrot CK3000 (might have been 3100). It basically plugs in between the radio and the speakers. But the Bose has an amp so either you have to kludge in a relay to power up the amp when the kit needs the speakers (I did, its not hard) or the kit only works when the radio is on. I put the microphone in the place in the dash where the microphone for the factory kit goes, but the audio is muffled. I'm going to put in near the driver's side visor and hope that clears things up.

Sorry, that won't work. If only it were that easy!!!

Your ML 350 is already pre-wired for the factory C-TEL system. To make it work, you'll need the PSE and linear compensator, as well as the phone cradle/coil cord, some fiber-optic cables, and some programming. It's not a bad set-up, if you like the Motorola V60 phone. If you want to spend a couple hundred bucks more, you can get the Bluetooth adaptor in place of the V60 hand-set. With the MB BT adaptor you'll have a choice of several compatible phones.
