Question Installed 2002 lights in 1999 ML and having problems.

I installed a set of headlights from a 2002-2004 ML in my 1999 ML430. They bolted right up and the wiring plugs plugged right in. The only problem is when I turn on my high beams, the blue light glows in my dash but nothing happens at the lights. When I turn on the headlights, the non-projector lights light up. They seem to be very bright so I don't know if that's because they are that much brighter than the old ones or if they are actually the high beams and the projector lights are for the headlights.

Can anyone help me out?

you have to swap the pins in the electrical connector. do a search in benzworld and you will find your answers. I changed mine to the reflective style xenon and I had to swap 2 pins.

The projectors are the low beams.

In ANY German car, yellow is low beam wire, white is high beam wire.
