2006 R350 FSS Reset
 

Just purchased a 2006 R350 with 22,600 miles. I have owned other Mercedes before (2000 ML320, 2002 E320, 2003 C230) and the owners manual always specified directions to reset the FSS after I did my own oil/filter changes. The 2006 R350 Owners Manual does not include FSS Reset directions and methods I have used on other Mercedes models do not work on this one. Does anyone have the correct procedure as I want to continue to do my own oil/filter changes?

WOW.....a 16 step procedure....no wonder they don't put it in the Owners Manual!

I guess they really don't want anyone changing oil on these vehicles unless they are serious about doing it to their exact specifications.
