2001 ML320 center console box removal
 

How exactly does one remove the center console storage box? I've got the Star Bulletins for a couple of upgrades, but they just say "remove the center console storage box..." and don't say how it's done. Has anyone removed it, and what holds it in place? I didn't see any screws in mine... I'm looking to install a bluetooth phone adapter. There seems to be a few adapters out there, some Mercedes, some other brands, like the ARGOS setup.

Take everything out of the box and look at the bottom, there are two phillips screws in the bottom of the box offset from each other.
