I am unable to enable the "automatic door lock when the vehicle starts" feature on my 2001 ML320. I'm wondering if someone disabled it due to the rear tailgate problem I read about on several threads? If they did, what might they have done? Is there a separate fuse for this circuit? The locks work fine with the remote.

I had a similar problem with my E300TD. One of the door switch wasn't working properly and the car stop locking itself while on the move.

This should be common knowledge for me but I cant remember exactly. I believe you press and hold the lock button for 7 or 10 seconds. Then accellerate and they should lock @ 10mph.
