Car Show for the benefit of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Mercedes Benz Car Show for the benefit of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation… in Macon, GA… on September 19, 2009. The Mercedes Benz Club of America (MBCA) Peachtree Section will hold the 2009 Concours d’Elegance or “Contest of Elegance” for Preservation, Show, and Driver/Street vehicles. It is open to all Mercedes Benz Owners. There will be a non-competing show display of a vintage Gullwing and a vintage Roadster, which will form the centerpiece of the display field. The Event is a Charity fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). ALL raffle proceeds will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). There are to date over 95 (over $4000.00 in value) extremely desirable Mercedes Benz related prizes which will be raffled for the benefit of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Raffle tickets are $2.00 each or 20 for $20.00.

JDRF is the world leader in research efforts potentially leading to a cure for Type 1 (Juvenile) Diabetes. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of continued medical research. Diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes children (and adults) suddenly, and can be fatal. Children with Type 1 diabetes have to test their blood sugar and take multiple daily insulin injections every day of their lives. Let’s try to help the children eliminate that ordeal!!
