Replacement key

Hi all!
Does anyone know where i can purchase a replacement key for my 05 ML350 other than at the dealer? I guess the next question would be, if I found a replacement key elsewhere would I have to take it to the dealer for programming or can I do it myself? Thanks!

Only from the dealer! keys are VIN specific

If you buy a key from e-bay or elsewhere it will NOT work on your ML.
No one can re-program it.

I just got a new key for my 07,,, cost right around $150.

A new key for my '98 was similarly priced. Dealer had to activate it.
