2000 ML320 Toe in toe out probs, please help
 

2 Months ago replaced rack and pinion steering. One time you would drive and the passenger tire toed out, driver side straight, then next time would switch tires.
After rack replaced, alignment done. Now, 1 month later, and very few miles (we're talking 50 -100) miles, the same problem is back. Also had problem with steering popping before rack and alignment done and popping is back. Please help, any ideas?

New ball joints year ago, tie rods look o.k.:confused:

Not possible unless the rack is damaged

Replacement rack was bad. Another rack is now in (keeping fingers crossed). Thanks

we like a good rack
 

so did the new rack cure it ?
was the defective one a new Mercedes rack ? That is scary if so.
