Rear Washer

This is actually quite funny.

I was driving with the family and decided to clean the rear window, so I hit the squirt button and the guy behind me started to honk. I looked back and found I could shoot a 15' stream of wiper fluid straight back!

After we all stopped laughing (and doing it a couple of times) my wife confessed that she backed out before the garage door was all the way open. Found the evidence of the crease in the aluminum door interior.

The question is, where do I get the plastic assembly to replace the broken one? Any clues?

Thanks

There is the cap on the back arm at the pivot, it may be just the missing cap.
If the nipple on the end of the shaft is busted off, you need a whole new wiper motor I believe. Relatively sure there is no serviceable parts except the cap.

I'd leave it as it is and use it against tailgaters

That link was perfect, thanks.

I will miss the feature, though.

Reminds me of the class clown in high school. He drove a '67 VW bug. The front windshield washer was "powered" by air from the spare in the front trunk. He turned the nipple 90 degrees so it pointed to the passenger side, pumped the tire up to about 80 PSI and would squirt little old ladies at bus stops 30 feet away.

Still cracks me up to think about it.
