P0455: How to diagnosis
 
Any way short of a smoke test at dealer to diagnos source of leak for P0455 code? Vehicle is 1999 ML 320

Smoke testing is the quickest way to diagnose that code.

I know that but I don't have that kind of equipment in my little home shop. Are there any other alternatives?
