mercedes sprinter 312 - it was running fine, but then I stopped it and when i went to start it again it will not start. if i spray easy-start then it runs and then stops again when it runs out.

The test you did shows that it is a fuel problem. So you are half way there! Assuming there is something in the tank, it is possibly the fuel pump or fuel pump relay. Can you hear the fuel pump running when you turn the key to "on"? If no, then you can find the relay and try jumper across it and see if the pump runs.
