99 ML320 intermittent stalling after startup and driving
 

My 99 ML320 just started to stall intermittently after startup -- driving up the road. It immediately turns on the flashers (automatically I assume) and when I let off on the gas it returns to normal. It may do this once, twice or more for a short time -- and sometimes it does not do it at all.

Can anyone help diagnose this problem?

Could be that the alternator is Over-charging, do you have a volt meter?

99 ML 320 stalling problem
 

The problem was that I put 70 series tires on the back and had 60 series tires on the front.
This confused the computer. I put new 70 series tires on the front and the problem was solved!! There was only about 1/2 inch of height difference, but that was enough.
