ML320 muffler, flowmaster

So I'm wanting to install a new Flowmaster muffler on my 98 ML. I know its 2 for the inlet and a single center outlet. I just want to know if anyone has ever attempted doing this and does anyone know the size of the IN/OUT pipes.

thanks.

Original equptiment is Arvin.

I would think the "flowmaster" would be slightly louder.
