Replaced engine oil cooler seals...fuel filter too.
Fuel lines and electrical connection on the engine were disconnected to gain access...
When reassembled, took some cranking to purge air from the fuel lines - now starts and idles properly, but when rev'd up it stumbles and shakes between 1500 and 2000RPM, cuts out down to idle when driven. Feels like running out of fuel.
Need help!

Did you fill the fuel filter up prior to installation?

yes.
Problem solved. Found the intake air temp sensor blown out of the air box.
Locking clip on the sensor is broken.
Made temporary repair with a cable tie, truck runs fine now...
