Hey gang,

Anyone know where to buy the factory service CD or paper manuals for the W164?

Have you tried the dealer or MB Classic Center?

164 Service DVD

MB classic does not have it and the dealer just turned up their nose.

Well, the part number for the Mercedes DVD I have--an early one through 2007 only--is T-2700-164-06.

You can enter this number at one of the online Mercedes dealers (omit dashes) and it comes up.

When I finally left Windows XP for Windows 7 64-bit, it doesn't work with the new operating system.

I think you can likely order one from Mercedes at their 800 number, which from my DVD jacket is 800-for-mercedes.

FYI: You can get an old, functioning, thinkpad that is runny XP for cheap. It would be a great asset as a shop PC I think. At my job they are still using XP to secure the nations borders lol
