Question 2008 ML320 CDI Limp Mode

Hi all, just replaced the glow plug control unit and serpentine belt on my 2008 ML320 CDI. (vin is 4JGBBE88A55023) Now the little beast is popping out O-rings at the point shown in the attached photo and reading codes 2359-001 and 2355-002. I am using a launch CRP123 reader. I am in the process of cleaning the EGR valve to clear the 2355-002 code.

Just wondering if it is something I did or neglected to do.

The boost tubes are really hard to install properly, likely need a new oring and lots of lube when sliding it together, becareful what kind (no silicone) due to sensors.
