Military GD240 1988 OM616 4 speed
Evening folks,
Finally got a GD240 ex Danish Army. Drove it home 250 miles with out issues and starting to look what needs attention. Noticed that some sound / heat insulation or fibre armory is mounted against the bottom of the floor. What is this stuff, is it wise to remove to eliminate a wet spot and additional rust issues? regards J

Yeah. I'd love to see pictures. I'm wondering how many of those are actually in the US. They must be quite rare here.

I don't know about rare, I've got two in my shop right now.
@Joeblack: you can remove it and treat the rust. But if you don't put something like dynamat down, you'll have some warm feet. |
