I am contemplating installing fender flares on my wife's ML. However, I'm squeamish about drilling holes in the fender wells, etc. Does anyone know how these are installed? Level of difficulty?

Anything that would require drilling through the body and bolting it from the inside would be open to diqualification of the corrosion warranty on your new vehicle.

If not made to fit from the factory good luck.

People that installed bug deflectors that attached/screwed into the hood have a lot of issues in ths area.

Not sure what color you ML, is but most would look cool with a wheel/tire upgrade and some lines or graphics from your local Rod Shop. Think like "RayBan Edition"

The factory flares require no drilling into the side of the fender and look great. I have installed several and it isn't too hard.

The Mercedes fender flare package doesn't require any drilling to install the flares. Go for it, the truck will look much better!!!
