Crank Position Sensor
Hi folks, just throwing this out in the hopes of some help.
Anyway, the MIL light came on on the wife's 2012 ML-350 Bluetec with the OM642 engine. The code (P0336) called out the crank position sensor. The car starts and runs fine, so it may have just been a hiccup, but just in case I would like to find the sensor in case it needs replacing. Google searches for over an hour revealed nothing helpful. Has anyone ever replaced the CRANK not Cam position sensor on an OM642, or knows on a DIY or video to help? Many thanks!

I've not worked on the ML or the OM642 but this has been easily accessible in my G500 and E500 and on the OM648.
