I bought my 98 ML last August with 23k on it from local dealer. It was starmarked and they said they did the 30k checkup so I was good until 45k I believe. I am on my 3rd oil change(mobil 1) since August and currently have 33,800 miles. This wrench showed up with a 1200 after it yesterday. What does that mean? Does it mean there is a service due in 1200 miles? or does it have to do with my oil changes? Do you need to reset something after you change the oil? My Caddy you needed to reset after you changed the oil, so just wondering. My warranty is good until 6/03 or 50k so I do not want to void it by ignoring the wrench. I feel I will need tranny work done sometime soon and I NEED that warranty. What gives Gilly?
