Headlights Go Out
 

Hey guys,

I previously used this forum regarding my e320 before it got crunched.

I just bought a 99 ml 430. I did the research, heard the horror stories and bought it anyway $22K. Tons of stuff replaced under the factory warranty. It does one interesting thing. With the headlights on, when I engage the turn indicator to turn left the headlights go out. When the indicator lever returns to center they come back on. Any ideas?

sounds like it probably needs a combination switch. That's the entire housing on the steering column; the headlight switch, turn signal switch, and wiper switch assembly. Replced lots of them.
