Thunk after rear shocks change
Ok,
I just got rear shocks replaced. No more squeaks and creaks, but when I go over a pot hole or expansion joint where the suspension does a sudden up/down travel, there is a noticeable 'thunk' sound (no, it's not the wheel coming down). Any ideas? It's been real cold here btw... |

'session,
Not to question your installer's integrity.... Did they reinstall or tighten the lower shock nut completely? FR |

Or the first nut that holds the sway bar link together. The first nut has the attached big washer, that one is torqued, then a second nut locks the first one in place.
