Thunk after rear shocks change

Ok,
I just got rear shocks replaced.
No more squeaks and creaks, but when I go over a pot hole or expansion joint where the suspension does a sudden up/down travel, there is a noticeable 'thunk' sound (no, it's not the wheel coming down). Any ideas? It's been real cold here btw...

'session,

Not to question your installer's integrity....

Did they reinstall or tighten the lower shock nut completely?

Or the first nut that holds the sway bar link together. The first nut has the attached big washer, that one is torqued, then a second nut locks the first one in place.
