Tele-Aid

Just wondering if you guys have ever use your Tele-Aid. If you do, got a question for you. Here`s the scenario, there are times when my wife drives my ML and forgets her cellphone. No other way to contact her when she on the road. Is it possible to call /talk thru TeleAid directly to my ML/ wife driving after being confirmed via the TeleAid operator.Or everything has to be convey to the TeleAid operator.

No, no one can call in to a Teleaid system (voice), it is out going only, or it can accept signals such as for the remote unlocking and theft tracking, but only on the newer type of Teleaid (Teleaid 2).
I believe all ML's are Teleaid 2.

When I activated my TeleAid for the first time, How come I was able to communicate to the operator. Got a 2002 ML 320. Is that TeleAid 2?

Because YOU placed the call. That's what I am saying, it's one-way only, YOU have to push the button. The operator can't call YOU, YOU have to call the operator. Once you push the button and are linked to the operator, you can conduct a 2 way conversation, but the operator can't initiate the call, YOU have to.
