Take out your headlights
Remove headlights
01. Open Hood, disconnect positive battery cable (optional). (make sure you have your anti-theft radio code ready) 02. Remove plastic panel below your headlight assembly, it is held in place by a clip (attached to panel) in the inner side of car of the panel. 03. Remove 10mm Bolt on top of headlight (black color) 04. Remove two 10mm nuts on the bottom of headlight (black color) 05. Pull out headlight assembly carefully. 06. Detach bigger harness (7 wire, headlight harness) from headlight, and unplug smaller harness (3 wire, signal) from headlight, put headlight aside. look for holes or cracks.. and seal them properly.. there has to be a hole thats why there is condensation.. also check your lowbeam + highbeam rubber cover to make sure its tightly fitted. The usual problem is a loose cover at the back of the headlight, either the large plastic one or the smaller round rubber one.
I seem to recall (not 100% certain) that they may have had a bad batch of plastic covers. What year is this truck, and can you tell me the last 6 digits of the VIN number, I'll try to check and see if your truck may need new covers. Make sure they are correctly installed though for sure. I'll look around in the bulletins, but I had earlier ones than that in mind when I mentioned it, like 98 or 99's I think there was something out. Most important thing at this time is to check the covers on the rear of the lights to make sure they are secured to the headlights, not popped open at all.

I'd recommend checking the covers without removing the whole light, that was my point I guess. Kinda like removing the engine to replace the sparkplugs.
In regards to my other comment about the lights, not everyone is interested in upgrading everything to the newer look and are relatively happy with the appearance of the truck as is. I've agreed that the newer ones look better, but please don't call the old headlights "ugly". Gilly
