Navigation problems
 

i just bought a used ml 2001 with navigation system, it seems to be reading my position , however when i put in a destination it says its to far away (4300 miles) when its only about 10 miles, i think i need to reset something but don't know what any ideas

Either your not getting enough satellites to get a good fix on your position (they say you need at leat 3) or the nav unit itself is bad.
Use the nav info button to see how many satellites are being used, usually you can get 5 to 7 satellites, it will vary.
