ML Trip Computer

I need advice on the ML Trip Computer I have bought a pallet of Mercedes ML Trip Computers at a lost freight auction
# 163 549 52 11, and have been selling them on ebay. The first 4 people to buy them, installed them in their 2001 and 2003 ML 320 and ML 350 that didn't come with trip computers.
They simply removed the overhead console , unplugged their overhead theft module unit and plugged this in and it worked fine except for 2 things.

1. They had to cut a hole in the fascia panel for the LCD display.

( I know that I can't buy the fascia panel from the dealership without buying the whole console, but wonder if anyone has a source for woodgrain or carbon look covers that I could buy in quantity and paint Black ??

2. The compass function does not work because You have to install something called a B26 remote magnetic module which is located in the tailgate or at the rear of the carpet near the latch striker. ( Thanks for the info Gillybenztech).

( I need to know if all 2001 and newer MLs had the 4 wire harness running to the back location for the magnet module even if they didn't come with a trip computer ???)
