Door lock mania
 

This evening, my wife's 2000 ML320 decided that it enjoys unlocking and relocking its own doors. I used the remote to lock the doors and heard the doors lock, then unlock and lock again. I unlocked it and tried again. Same result. The worst of it is that every time I come to a stop and get to the speed where the autolock feature kicks in, the doors unlock and then lock again. It does it on EVERY stop!!! Insanity.

Ha! Found the problem already.

Had the car fixed today. Seems the tailgate lock was inoperable and that was causing it to behave the way it was. Covered under warranty.
