Front Rotor ML320: Minimun Thickness?
 
What is the minimun thickness for the front rotors on a 99 model?

I could barely makeout some numbers on the rotor. If I'm not mistaken I think I saw 23mm. Mine have 23.8mm remaining.

Also what is their thickness when new? My vehicle has almost 80K mile on it so I'm on my second set of front pads which have 6mm remaining. Does that sound about right for wear? I got 49K miles out of my first set of front pads.

You are very light on your brakes. I heard a story of a lady that wore her pads through her rotors into the vents on an ML in 20k miles.

New brake pads are 10mm, so basically you have 60% left.. I recommend you just wait til your "time to change brake" light turns on.... but of course check it everytime your rotate your tires...
