ML350 Navigation installation
 
I've just purchased a navigation unit from MB dealer. Can I install it myself or will I need MB equipment to set it up?

It's actually quite easy to install the unit, as long as you have a pair of the radio "keys" (special tool) to remove the MCS unit itself. You will however need to take the truck in to have the shop change the internal configuration of the MCS to reflect the addition of the nav unit.
It's easy on these newer ones with Teleaid as the Nav unit uses the same GPS antenna as the Teleaid.
