ML320 New Styl Bumpers
 

Hello to everybody!
I’m new in this Forum. What I see we have Excellent Moderator.


I'm interested to make change on my ML320e - 1999.
Install new type bumpers from 2002 model.
I get so many opinions, can’t fit 2002 bumpers on 1999 ML320.
If this is true please let me know.

They actually changed the way the bumper mounts to the truck when they went to that new style, so I'm going to say that it's not going to work. Maybe someone has tried it though, so we can wait and see if anyone else has any advice for you.
Have you considered painting the bumpers to body color like on the V8 1999's/2000-2001 V6's?

My ML is Polar White.
I painted the bumpers: upper part of the bumper – dark blue and lower silver.
And mirrors silver color. Looks not bad.

I'm sure its possible... But its going to be very very expensive.. Basically if you have $$$ you can do anything... Don't forget you don't just buy the bumpers, the front has new fog lights, and the back you will need a tailgate panel for the tailgate... and after the upgrade your ML still won't look nice cuz you don't have the 2002 headlights and taillights =P If you're gonna spend so much money why not just buy the new style ML if you like it? Also you don't get the really cool side mirrors that have LED in them...

I dont know if this lights are good.

I dont know how are the Monroe shocks on ML320,
I order front two shocks.911 219.

I get one more problem,today I want chage Bushings on front
stabil.and I breck bolt on the end of the bar.How to removed.

What I see,to get new ML is very simple.
To make ML how you liked is diffrent.The car on which one you are woking drive diffrent.Then new one which one have evrything ready nonsens.Good for the people with diffrent interest.
ML is man made mashine,how bad is evry body loved.
World wide evry body love ML.The all perfect cars no good for the people,which like work,make modifications.etc.
ML is a true mashine aware days.
