ML320 faulty electric seats
 

Fellows. New to this site and this is my 1st request of information.
I own an 1999 ML320 (Australian, right hand drive). I have deleloped a problem with the drivers electric seat, all functions work other than back and forth. I experienced this problem about 12 months ago but, it corrected itself. I had the dealer look at the problem and was informed the needed to import a complete new seat, which is garbage. The seat is in it's rearmost postion and won't go forward, I can feel the motor loading up and trying to move the seat. Before I remove the seat and have a closer look at the mechanism, has anyone experienced this problem, if so, what was the resolve????

Must be a french fry stuck down in the channel. :) Seriously, check for coinage.
