Mercedes ML Windshield Washer Nozzles

I just bought a pallet of Mercedes ML Washer Nozzles at a lost freight auction I go to .
The number is A 163 860 00 47
I found out what it was by calling a friendly parts dealer who looked up the number. He told me it fit the 163- 113 , 128 , 154 , 175, M series ML
It looks more like a Black Plastic Master cylinder. I was wondering how they work .
Is it like a Big 6 inch long check valve or does it use a mechanical linkage to acuate ???

Pressure from the HI-intensity washer pump pushes the nozzle open & then it sprays. AN option on 2002 & later ML's
