one more time...

I know this has been asked before, but need my fellow forum member's help one more time:

A) Which of the many spark plug models should I be buying for my 99ML320? There are something like 3 options.

B) Should I buy this at the dealer or thru an online shop - if the latter, which store do you recommend.

Thanks,

After doing a forum search I came up with this -

Bosch superseded the F8DPER plug to the F8DPP332 about a year ago.
Beru also supplies OE plugs for the M112/M113 engines 14FGH-8DPURX2.

As far as where to get them, I'd check out the Fast Lane on this website or http://www.thebenzbin.com/ or http://www.***************/ or http://www.germanstar.net/index.html and maybe price the dealer and then go with the best deal. ;)

Which one...?

But...I get 4 options! WHICH ONE?

Product Brand Availability Retail Our Price

F1000-115026 Spark Plug Bosch IN STOCK $14.15 $6.17

F1000-89781 Spark Plug BKR5EIVX-11 NGK IN STOCK $16.73 $7.45

F1000-57290 Spark Plug PFR5G-11 NGK NGK IN STOCK $28.19 $12.54

F1000-61924 Spark Plug Platinum+4 Bosch IN STOCK $5.99 $4.96

I am told getting the correct plug is critical:
If the plug is out of the operating cylinder heat range it can cause a cylinder to run either too cold or too hot.....so although different plugs can fit, it may not be the right one...

I would call the the dealers parts department and see what they recommend and the price. Might be better off getting them at the dealer and you won't have to pay any shipping charge. I went through this when replacing my battery. I shopped all over town and ended up buying at the dealer. None of the other brands fit like the original. :D
