Hey Gilly..........

l recently replaced my MAF sensor, and the Lateral acceleration sensor, which was causing my Check Engine light to come on..it came on again this morning...what else would cause the CEL to come on....My ML has 115,000 KM's.....Thanks...This is getting a little frustrating....

The lateral acceleration sensor I don't believe would cause the check engine light. The MAS is pretty common though. Don't know why it didn't fix your problem, not enough info on why it was replaced to begin with (codes).
You need to get the trouble codes read out and find out why the light is on.

MAF Trouble Codes

Use any obd2 scanner if you see P170 or P173 than you know its the MAF.. try resetting and pray that it doesn't come back... could be your gas cap..
