I need a reliable Mercedes mechanic in the north west Bronx area . I have a couple of classic Benzes(1969 and 1973) and don't want to waste any time. I heard about Wolfgangs in Tenafly N.J. but also heard he is very expensive. Has anyone used his shop that would like to comment? I heard about a place called Luigi's in Nanuet , N.Y. too...Of course I would like a place close to the north west Bronx but will travel for a good shop. Any help is appreciated.

I've seen Manfred at Rheinland Motors for my 1984 300TD and he's been great. Very clean shop and honest work. He's not inexpensive, but he's very throrough and knowledable. Also, his assistant Ming is great, too. (Tell him Tom, with the W123 wagon sent you!)

I use a shop in the NE bronx located at 4151 Boston Rd, right off Conner St. a couple of blocks off interstate 95. its called MBSR. Phone# (718-325-5833). He worked on my 02 Supercharged w210 E55 and im very happy with him. Its a strictly Mercedes-Benz shop, he uses the latest Mercedes STAR diagnostic tools ... you dont have to use him, but if your mechanic is stumped and cant figure out your problem then definitely go by and get an estimate and check him out. hes great with trouble shooting... the guys name is MIRO, you can tell him your Hus' Cousin and you want a discount...lol.. good luck..
