Central Jersey Valve Adjustment
Hey I need a valve adjustment done to my 1987 300TDT and I wanted to see if anyone here has had positive experience with a shop or a individual who can do the work for me.

Not sure where you are, but I work on MB diesels...although the 1987 603 engines do not require periodic adjustment.

Dave,
I was under the impression that the 603's were due for an adjustment every 30,xxx miles; I will have to look this up a little bit more than. whunter, I know there are many shops that people have gone to in the Central Jersey area, was this a bad place to ask people their experience?

It's under General Discussion.
The 603.XXX 's have Hydraulic (OIL PRESSURE OPERATED) valve lifters and do not require "Valve Adjustments".
